Return and Refund Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Thank you for shopping with Zeppitron.

This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, repairs and refunds are handled for purchases made through Zeppitron.store.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation where a product:

  • is faulty, defective or unsafe;

  • is not of acceptable quality;

  • is significantly different from its description, photograph or sample;

  • does not perform as advertised;

  • is not fit for its usual purpose;

  • is not fit for a particular purpose that you told us about before purchasing; or

  • does not otherwise meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any voluntary return period offered by Zeppitron.

2. Major Problems

A product may have a major problem where:

  • a reasonable consumer would not have purchased it had they known about the problem;

  • it is substantially different from its description, sample or demonstration model;

  • it is unsafe;

  • it is unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time; or

  • it is unfit for a purpose you specifically communicated to us and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time.

Where a product has a major problem, you may choose to:

  • reject the product and receive a full refund;

  • reject the product and receive a replacement of the same type and similar value, subject to availability; or

  • keep the product and request compensation for the reduction in its value.

Refunds for products with a major problem will not be reduced to account for the use you have already had from the product.

3. Minor Problems

Where a product has a minor problem, Zeppitron may choose to provide a free repair within a reasonable time.

Depending on the product and the nature of the problem, we may instead offer a replacement or refund.

Where we cannot or do not repair the product within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to:

  • reject the product and request a refund;

  • reject the product and request a replacement;

  • have the product repaired elsewhere and recover the reasonable repair costs from us; or

  • keep the product and request compensation for its reduced value.

4. Change-of-Mind Returns

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Zeppitron voluntarily accepts eligible change-of-mind returns requested within 30 calendar days after delivery.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must:

  • be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged;

  • be in a resalable condition;

  • include its original packaging, labels, tags, accessories and manuals;

  • show no marks, odours, stains, alterations or signs of use; and

  • be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse a voluntary change-of-mind return where these conditions have not been met.

The 30-day change-of-mind period does not limit any rights you may have in relation to faulty or non-compliant products under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Products Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless faulty or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we do not accept change-of-mind returns for:

  • personalised, customised or made-to-order products;

  • gift cards or store credits;

  • products marked as final sale or clearance;

  • underwear, swimwear or other intimate garments where the hygiene seal has been removed;

  • earrings or pierced jewellery that has been opened or worn;

  • personal-care or hygiene-sensitive products that have been opened;

  • products damaged through misuse, improper care or accidental damage; or

  • products returned without their original packaging, tags or included accessories.

Products purchased during a sale remain fully protected by the Australian Consumer Law. A sale or discounted item may still be returned where it is faulty, unsafe, not as described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

6. Incorrect, Faulty or Damaged Products

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Where you receive an incorrect, damaged or potentially faulty product, contact us at:

contact@zeppitron.store

Please include:

  • your full name;

  • order number;

  • a description of the problem;

  • clear photographs or videos showing the product and the issue; and

  • any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.

Photographs and videos help us assess the issue but do not automatically determine whether a remedy will be provided.

We may reasonably inspect or assess the product before confirming the appropriate remedy.

7. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Zeppitron.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • an order confirmation;

  • a digital receipt;

  • an invoice;

  • an order number;

  • a payment statement; or

  • another document reasonably demonstrating the purchase.

Lack of the original receipt does not automatically prevent a claim where another reasonable form of proof of purchase is available.

8. Starting a Return

Before sending a product back, contact:

contact@zeppitron.store

Include your order number and reason for the return.

Where the return is accepted, we will provide the applicable return instructions and return address.

Products sent to an address without following our return instructions may be delayed, refused or returned to the sender. This does not limit any non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Return Shipping Costs

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe or otherwise non-compliant with the Australian Consumer Law, Zeppitron will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

We may provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable postage costs. Please retain your postage receipt.

For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original delivery charges are generally not refundable for change-of-mind returns, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Zeppitron.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service for change-of-mind returns. Zeppitron is not responsible for a voluntarily returned parcel that is lost before being received by us.

10. Responsibility for Returning Large or Difficult Products

Where a product covered by the Australian Consumer Law is too large, heavy or difficult to return without significant cost, please contact us before arranging transportation.

Where legally required, we will arrange collection or pay the reasonable cost of returning the product.

11. Refunds

Once a returned product has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued using the original payment method unless:

  • you agree to another method;

  • the original payment method is no longer available; or

  • another method is required due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

For refunds required under the Australian Consumer Law, we will not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund.

Please allow a reasonable processing period after approval. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund in your account.

Zeppitron is not responsible for processing delays caused solely by a bank or payment provider after we have issued the refund.

12. Exchanges

Approved exchanges are subject to product availability.

Where the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer:

  • an alternative product;

  • store credit, where you agree;

  • a refund; or

  • another remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Any price difference for a voluntary change-of-mind exchange must be paid or refunded, as applicable.

13. Incorrect Size or Fit

Purchasing an incorrect size is generally treated as a change-of-mind return unless:

  • the product measurements or size information supplied by us were incorrect;

  • the product was labelled incorrectly;

  • the product materially differs from the advertised size information; or

  • another consumer guarantee applies.

Eligible size exchanges must satisfy the conditions in the Change-of-Mind Returns section.

14. Gifts

A person who receives a product as a gift may have the same consumer guarantee rights as the original purchaser.

We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Zeppitron.

For voluntary change-of-mind gift returns, any approved refund will normally be issued to the original payment method. We may offer store credit where appropriate and agreed.

15. Products Damaged by the Customer

A remedy may not be available where the problem was caused by:

  • misuse or abnormal use;

  • failure to follow care or operating instructions;

  • accidental damage after delivery;

  • unauthorised alterations or repairs;

  • normal wear and tear; or

  • a defect that was specifically disclosed before purchase.

This exclusion applies only to the extent that the customer’s actions caused or contributed to the problem.

16. Order Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

We will attempt to cancel the order before it is processed or dispatched, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Where an order has already been dispatched, it must be handled under the applicable return provisions in this policy.

Nothing in this section limits any legal right to cancel an order or receive a remedy where Zeppitron has failed to supply the order as agreed.

17. Refused and Unclaimed Deliveries

Where a parcel is refused, unclaimed or returned because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, we may deduct reasonable delivery and return costs from any voluntary refund.

This does not apply where the delivery problem was caused by Zeppitron, the carrier acting on our behalf, or another circumstance for which the customer is not responsible.

18. Compensation for Loss or Damage

In some circumstances, a customer may be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by a failure to comply with an Australian Consumer Law guarantee.

Claims will be assessed in accordance with the applicable law and the individual circumstances.

19. Manufacturer Warranties

Any manufacturer’s warranty or express warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are not required to contact the manufacturer before contacting Zeppitron about a product purchased directly from our store.

We remain responsible for addressing valid consumer guarantee claims relating to products sold by us.

20. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time.

The version displayed on Zeppitron.store at the time of your purchase will generally apply to voluntary change-of-mind returns.

Changes to this policy do not remove or reduce any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
